Privacy Policy
Your privacy is very important to us. At VerveAR, we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:
-We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
-We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
- We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of our platform.
VerveAR operates several websites and platforms, including VerveAR.com. It is VerveAR’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and services.
Privacy for Online Retailers and Brands
As a retailer or brand using VerveAR, we may collect and store any information you knowingly provide to us. This includes information shared during the registration process, account settings, or through your use of our platform. We may collect information such as your business name, contact details (e.g., email address, phone number), and billing and payment information. Certain information may be required to register with us or to take advantage of our Services.
If you use VerveAR’s integrated payment gateway, we may share some of this information with our payment processing provider, Stripe, to facilitate onboarding and identity verification. Where information is shared with Stripe for these purposes, it will be processed in accordance with Stripe’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://stripe.com/privacy.
We may communicate with you using the contact information you provide. For example, we may send you VerveAR marketing and promotional emails, updates about your account, or important notifications regarding our Services. If you do not wish to receive communications from us, you may indicate your preference by contacting verveteam@vervear.com.
Privacy for end users
VerveAR takes the privacy of end users very seriously. If you are accessing, viewing, or interacting with experiences powered by VerveAR (such as AR or virtual try-on experiences), please note the following:
VerveAR does not record or store your background or environment when you interact with AR or virtual try-on features. The data processed for rendering these experiences is used only to deliver the service in real-time and is not stored or shared.
If you make a purchase while using an AR or virtual try-on experience, we use a third-party payment processor, Stripe, to handle the transaction. VerveAR does not store your credit or debit card details. Stripe processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
When accessing third-party content hosted on the VerveAR platform, please also review the privacy practices of the respective retailer or brand.
Website visitors
Like most website operators, VerveAR collects non-personally-identifying information, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. This information helps us understand how visitors use our website. From time to time, we may release aggregated, non-personally-identifying information (e.g., publishing a report on trends in platform usage).
We also collect potentially personally-identifying information, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. We disclose such information only under the same circumstances as personally-identifying information, as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to VerveAR’s websites choose to interact with us in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. For example, we may ask for your email address when you subscribe to our updates or require additional details when you comment on our blog. VerveAR collects only the information necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from accessing certain features.
Aggregated Statistics
VerveAR may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For example, we may monitor popular sections of our site to improve user experience. However, we do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below
